Pilates will help you improve balance, coordination, muscle tone, core strength, flexibility and posture. This class is designed to be both informational and encouraging. You will learn the fundamentals of Pilates including: breathing from your core, mobilizing and stabilizing your pelvis and spine in a neutral position, and how to engage your deep abdominal muscles in connection with the movement of your spine and limbs. Whether you are a beginner or advanced practitioner, this foundations class is effective for enhancing your body awareness and form. Pilates is the simultaneous integration of control, flexibility, strength, precision, breath and movement of the body.
