Wednesday Wellness Series: Strong and Healthy Shoulders

Learn the basic anatomy and mechanics of the scapular shoulder complex and its relationship to the neck and thoracic. Become familiar with the most effective physical therapy techniques to promote strong and healthy shoulders including:

1) stretching and mobility techniques

2) shoulder strengthening exercises

3) shoulder stability and exercises

Reference materials and a therapy band provided for participants.

Kari Elste PT, DPT. is a former elite level gymnast turned rock climber with 8 years of clinical experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is passionate about injury prevention and rehab to keep her clients enjoying the activities they love.
